MOVIE SUMMARY:
Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane brings his boundary-pushing brand of humor to the big screen for the first time as writer, director and voice star of Ted. In the live action/CG-animated comedy, he tells the story of John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg), a grown man who must deal with the cherished teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish----and has refused to leave his side ever since. In another angle we can say, A story centered on a man and his teddy bear, who comes to life as the result of a childhood wish.
Ted is an upcoming American drama film, directed, co-written and co-produced by Seth MacFarlane. It stars Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, and Seth MacFarlane. Filming began in May 2011 in Boston and Swampscott. The movie, which is the feature-length directorial debut for MacFarlane, is produced by Media Rights Capital, and will be distributed by Universal Pictures. It is set for a July 13, 2012 release. In March of 2012, the MPAA gave the film an R rating for crude and sexual content, pervasive language, and some drug use.
